Narration: This is Berk. For generations it was Vikings versus dragons. The battle was ferocious then one day, everything changed. I met Toothless and together we show people here that instead of fighting dragons, we can ride them! Play with them, train with them!
Gikin rolls her eyes at the young storyteller, and retorts, "Yeah right! Where is your precious dragon now? Are you sure we can ride dragons? I hear there are wild dragons out there, and I have no intention of riding one."
The storyteller replies, "Toothless is being sociable with his friends. He will not find a mate, even after ten years. He does not want to be alone again, so he went along with his friends. Yes you can ride dragons. There are some who cannot be ridden, as they are too small. You are right, Gikin. There are wild dragons out there. I am sorry to hear the Devillish Delight killed your parents."

A young, male Monstrous Nightmare was enjoying the sun while he had it. Fireworm lay sprawled out on The Dragon Nest. The blue dragon lay in a perfect spot for sunning himself, and for the time being was simply regaining energy so that he could resume his play.
Fireworm's wings were spread out as well, his scales being warmed by the faint sun. It was rather relaxing, and the Monstrous Nightmare would soon be up and about, most likely causing mischief.

The Skrill had just been waking up from a light nap, having dozed off in her little shelf of rock he liked to call home. As his conscience began its slow climb upward into the world of reality, the young dragon couldn't help but sense that something was amiss in its surroundings.
But he didn't worry. He was so high up in the mountains that no intruder could possibly make its way up here...maybe another dragon, but he could definitely handle that on her own.
But as Bolt opened his eyes further, he saw it.
A small shape, sitting on a rocky outcrop, only a few feet from the entrance to her cave. That was no dragon...it was a Viking; the one thing Indigo hated and feared the most in this world. It was huddled over something, seemingly deep in concentration; it's arms moving slightly from the motion of something in its hands. After a few seconds, it would stop look up and around, and make some sort of weird, airy noise which the Skrill guessed by the sound would come from the nasal passages and from deep inside the throat. It didn't look to be a threat at the moment...but he would take no chances.
Bolt slowly rose himself up onto his sturdy legs, spreading her wings in an attempt to make himself appear bigger than he really was...after all, he was smaller than the other Skrills. A low growl escaped from the back of his throat, and he bared her teeth.
If this didn't chase off that pesky Viking, what would?

Kallaya was curled up against a wall, half asleep. She could hear faint voices, which sounded like Astrid. As she woke up more, her words became more clear. She was fully awake just as Astrid said "Stormfly will be back." She opened her eyes instantly, lifting her head to see her looking out the window. "Huh? What's going on...?" she asked in a sleepy voice, squinting slightly at them. Then she could hear voices coming from the entrance. She turn to see Snotlout, Astrid, and Fishlegs, coming back.
"Hiccup is busy talking to the young Vikings." Fishlegs said. "There is one problem with one of the children. Gikin still hates dragons, tamed or wild."

Stoick jumped at the sound of a loud growl coming from a dragon, and turning, he said, "Wow, dad must know about this!" flipping his book to a fresh page she began to sketch the dragon in the cave.
"Easy." He told the Skrill, and quickly glanced under the dragon to tell its gender.

Purpkle was sitting on a small outcropping out on the ocean. As he looked out across, he thought he saw another dragon, and wanted to investigate. His urge eventually got the better of him, since this dragon appeared to be smaller than he was.
He flew off into the air and swooped towards where he saw the shape. Landing in an area nearby, he was careful not to be heard, until the time was right at least...
He looked upon the scene.

Ruffana punches Gikin's right shoulder playfully, "Come on, Gikin, do you want to see what Fishlegs has for us? I know you want to, but you just would not admit it, would you?"

Chame was walking back to his nest. Unlike most of the dragons, he made his home in a cave on a cliff just five minutes away from the village (and that's when walking). He had had an uneventful day. Toothless, his cousin, had left that morning on a mission. But now, he was tired, and just wanted some sleep.

Gikin smiles ruefully, "Who knows what facts he will dish out on us? Well Ruffana, let's go! Fishlegs has an inexhaustible arsenal of facts and expresses his knowledge in role-playing game terms. He has memorized the manual of dragons, and can you believe it, he had read seven times." Then she follows her friend.
The storyteller watches as Gikin follows Ruffana, a popular mischief-maker. He shakes his head, "Oh Gikin, I reckon you will bond with your dragon after spending some time with yours. I did not take long to bond with my Nightfury." Hiccup walks towards his house.

Fireworm's wings were soon warm, and the young, male Monstrous Nightmare flapped his wings, soaring into the sky and to Hiccup's village.
Flying high above the village, the Monstrous Nightmare watched the villagers going about their business. However there was one villager he likes. A pretty Viking girl with rough clothes.

Much to Bolt's dismay, his "frightening" appearance did nothing to scare off the intruding Viking; rather it only attracted another dragon, which he had seen land out of the corner of his eye. It didn't seem to be advancing on the scene, so he decided to drop him a mental connection and wonder what the hell he was doing in her territory. All he had wanted was a nap and some time to himself, and suddenly his cave had become the most popular place on the island.
Don't come any closer! Bolt warned the other dragon, his growl elevating slightly in volume in tone with his annoyance. If you can, tell that human to hop it as well...I don't need her kind around here.

Kallaya was wide awake now, and sat up against the wall. She stifles a yawn, and she says, "Gikin wouldn't accept dragon history again? Well I cannot blame her for the way she has been all these years. Fifteen years has been hard for her, and it wasn't easy for her to like Toothles. She was only two years when she was orphaned, and Phlegma the Fierce has been looking after her."
Astrid nods, "You are right, Kallaya. She will not accept Stormfly either. It is sad as Deadly Nadder can be friendly."

"Girl, I just want to get a pretty picture of you, yes pretty, see." Stoick showed the sketch to the beast, hoping it would enjoy the gift.
"Now just sit still Dad's gonna freak!" Stoick said as he excitedly sketched the eyes in next.

Purpkle got the message, and retreated slightly; since this dragon did not seem to want to be disturbed. He was wondering whether to fire a fire blast, as a warning, to the human per this dragons instructions, but he didn't want to weaken the cave and cause a landslide.
So instead, he roared loudly and menacingly in the Viking's direction, in an attempt to get her to back away.

Ruffana leads his friend into Kallaya's home, as he had seen Astrid and her friends heading into this direction.
Inside the house, Ruffana greets the other vikings, and turn to Fishlegs, "Do you have any interesting things to show us? Where are Meatlug's children?"

Gikin enters Kallaya's home and snorts, "I heard that, Astrid. I will not deny it. I will not accept Stormfly. My parents died, defending me from Deadly Nadders, and I will not accept the ten years old history. I will never bond with a dragon, even if it is the last thing I do. So, Fishlegs, is there anything you can show us other than dragon eggs?"

Fireworm hovered high above the village, and he watches the Viking he likes as she enters a building. After she has entered, he lands onto a roof. "Hey! Don't you cause any trouble now, you hear, Nightmare?" A viking yells at Fireworm.

Finally, after all the noise Bolt and the other dragon was making, the Viking seemed to have a reaction, jumping at the sound of the other dragon's roar. But, instead of moving, the Viking turned around...and stood there. She stood her ground, surprisingly, and smiled at her, her mouth jabbering quickly and excitedly at the sight of the Skrill. Is she...mad?!

Fishlegs says, "Someday you will be grateful for a dragon companion, Gikin. I know you like fighting alongside Kallaya. Let me show you how to fight with those weapons you treasured."
Kallaya chuckles, "Of all the Viking children, you have the most number of weapons. With that many, you can rival Gobber the Belch! He made weapons only for you."

Purpkle looked on at the other dragon. She seemed to be handling the situation, but he was in the shadows, ready just in case. After all, there was no way one human could fight off 2 dragons. He was wondering why this boy was risking her life, and giving the dragon food?! This really piqued his curiosity.
As he looked on, he checked to see if the dragon responded.

Chame woke up from his slumber to the feeling that something big had happened.
As he blinked the sleep out of his eyes, and sat up, he tried to think of where the feeling could have come from. He had no idea. He dismissed it as his mind messing with him, and walked outside.
He was shocked at how early it was. He never woke up this early. Oh well, he thought. I doubt I'll get back to sleep now.

Then the Viking began to wave a block of paper in front of her face, talking rapidly again and glancing underneath Bolt. The simple action puzzled her; she wasn't sure whether to be offended or not...
Bolt growled louder, baring her teeth. She didn't want the Viking here at all, and the fact that her attempt to get her to leave had failed, that had really set Bolt off. She lowered herself, crouching to pounce...

As Purpkle watched Bolt go into the cave, he thought he had better follow just to be sure. After all, this was getting quite interesting, and he was always curious, so he entered the cave.
He moved slowly to avoid detection, because after all if the human noticed him he might be startled.
